ABOUT THE FILM

Gerald’s Hands is a compelling inspirational drama about a kind-loving man on the spectrum who tries to survive a tragic loss, keep his home, and win the love of his life. Be ready to laugh, cry, and celebrate as love drives Gerald to combat bullying, learn life lessons, accept change, and develop healthy relationships. Gerald’s Hands will make a contribution to society because it will shed light on dark issues, such as bullying in the autistic community and domestic violence.  There to it, like that there!

IMPACT GOAL

"Gerald's Hands aims to inspire people to indulge in moments of soulful celebration, togetherness, and connection with themselves and with their friends, families, and communities by providing them with the ultimate film experience while educating them about autism, raising awareness, and encouraging better understanding and support for those with autism helping them reach their full potential."

STRATEGY

  • Partner with organizations working towards bringing autism awareness and anti-bullying initiatives.

  • Collaborate with key partners to organize 5 fundraising events to raise awareness of the film and campaign amongst target audiences.

  • Organize field trips for middle-high school students to movie theaters during opening week in the North Central Georgia area.

  • Meet the qualifications of a  7-day run in a commercial theater to qualify Gerald's Hands for the Oscars.

Is my donation tax deductible?
Depends on a few factors like if you received a reward in exchange for the donation and the value of your donation above that rewards cost, etc. You may contact the nonprofit you donated to directly to receive information on whether or not your donation is tax deductible. Nonetheless, the emailed receipts you will receive for your donation is the documentation you need to make it tax deductible.

How do I know that my donation was made successfully?
